Cheryl Shea
Cheryl Shea has been with Pet Paradise since the Sanford
location opened in April 2008. She has worked her way up through
her hard work, dedication, and love of animals.
Cheryl is originally from Maryland, but has called Central Florida
home since 1989. She used to breed Scotties, and some of her
puppies, now all grown up, come to Pet Paradise for haircuts and
vacations!
Cheryl loves to spend her work days taking pictures of all of our
guests, and is responsible for most of the wonderful pictures on
our facebook page. She currently has 5 kids, 3 Scotties, a rescue
Shih-Tzu, a Blue and Gold Macaw, and a husband. She is pictured
here with her Shih-Tzu, Freeway, named for where he was found.
meet the Assistant Manager
Joy Ruggiero
Joy joined Pet Paradise in 2011 after a successful
career selling books, first to consumers, then to libraries. Eager
to find a career that would utilize her MBA as well as her passion
for pets, Pet Paradise was a perfect fit. Transferring from
University Blvd (Jacksonville) to join Sanford's team brought her
closer to her grown son in Orlando - another perfect fit. Her
family also includes Champ, pictured, a 7yr old Shepherd/Rotti mix.
