Q. Can my dogs stay together?
A. Yes, same family pets may stay together. There is a discounted rate for the second and subsequent pet(s) using the same suite.
Q. Can I bring my own food?
A. We recommend that you bring your pet’s food in pre-measured and pre-marked baggies to maintain his normal diet. However, we do provide Eukanuba house food at no cost.
Q. Should I bring his favorite toy or blanket?
A. Your pet will be very active at Pet Paradise and you do not need to bring anything with you.
Q. Do they get to play?
A. Your pet will be able to enjoy group playtime with compatible dogs. If your pet does not interact well with others, Pet Paradise does offer individual play sessions. You may also purchase additional playtimes for your pet.
Q. Is there a vet on-site?
A. There is always a vet on-call for any emergencies.
Q. Can I take a tour?
A. You (and your pet) are encouraged to tour the facility prior to your reservation.
Q. Does someone stay on-site?
A. There is a caretaker living on-site at the facility.
Q. What vaccinations does my pet need?
A. Dogs: The following vaccinations are required prior to boarding your dog:
- Rabies - required once every three years
- DHLPP - required once every year
- Bordetella - required once every year
Cats: The following vaccinations are required prior to boarding your cat:
- Rabies - required once every three years
- FCRVP - required once every year
Q. What does my pet do all day?
A. Your dogs will relax in a private suite, go out for playtimes, swim in the pool, or lounge on the outdoor patio. Your dog will be very active during his stay with us and it is not uncommon for pets to sleep more than normal after their vacation at Pet Paradise.
Q. Are the managers trained?
A. All managers are trained and certified by the Pet Care Services Association (formally known as the ABKA).
Q. My pet has special needs, can Pet Paradise administer medications?
A. Yes, Pet Paradise can administer medications including injections. A small fee is charged for this service.
Q. My pet was thirsty when I picked him up, did he have enough water to drink?
A. All of our rooms have an automatic water system that provides your pet with an endless supply of fresh water. It is not uncommon for your pet to pant when he sees you because he/she is excited to see you.
